The Eric Breindel Collegiate Journalism Award is presented to the undergraduate journalist, columnist, editorial writer or reporter who best reflects the spirit of Mr. Breindel's writings: love of country and its democratic institutions as well as the commitment to preserve the freedoms that allow such institutions to flourish.

This prestigious award offers its winner a cash prize of $10,000, as well as a paid internship of his or her choice at either Fox News Channel, The Wall Street Journal, or the New York Post. In addition, residential housing in New York City for non-New York residents can be provided for the winner for the duration of the internship position.
